Smith Career Day: Careers in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Smith Career Days are sponsored by the Joel A. Smith III Fund for Career Exploration. These career days are organized twice each year by the Babson Center for Global Commerce and Career & Leadership Development; the fall event focuses on careers in the financial sector, and the spring event explores careers in a variety of industries. Alumni serve as panelists, and the event provides students with an overview of career options, practice interview opportunities and the ability to network with Sewanee alumni.

Five alumni and one friend of the University will be on campus on February 23 to talk with students about their careers in entrepreneurship and innovation.  Students can attend a networking lunch, panel discussion and have one-on-one time with the visiting professionals through practice interviews.  The participants are:

  • Whitaker Elledge, C'07 - Director of Artist Development, Dualtone Music Group, Nashville, Tennessee
  • Robert Henderson - CEO, JumpCrew, Nashville, Tennessee
